The Office of the Prime Minister has sent out a saying that Justin Trudeau had a discussion with BC premier John Horgan about the launching of BC’s plan to limit the province’s greenhouse gas emissions.
The office also said that Trudeau was happy to see that BC was taking some parts from the federal government’s plan on improving the climate and putting it in their plan.
Some similarities include increasing the price of pollution, reducing methane emissions and increasing the emphasis on electric vehicles.
Another thing the office mentioned is that Trudeau talked about the importance of continuing their work with B-C in order to help with preparations for future wildfire seasons as well as the rebuilding of Lytton.
Trudeau is one of many leaders heading to Glasgow for a United Nations summit next week that is looking to deal with climate change.
