The official deadline for BC health care workers to get fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is today.
Premier John Horgan has sent out a statement saying that most of the health care workers in the province have both shots and he’s hopeful that the last few people resisting the vaccine will get their own shots soon.
Almost 90 percent of BC residents 12 and older have one dose of the vaccine and about 84 percent of people eligible to get the shot are fully vaccinated.
The most recent report of the province said that there were one-thousand-618 new cases of COVID-19 found over the past three-days, and another 20 people lost their life due to the illness, pushing BC’s casualty toll to two-thousand-129.
