October 20th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 560 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.

That brings the total number of active cases in the province to 4,913, with 146 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 131 are from within Northern Health’s boundaries, and 79 are from the Interior.

There have been five new deaths reported, with one in the North and none in the Interior.

Over the past two weeks, 75 percent of hospitalizations have come from individuals who are not fully vaccinated.
