An Indigenous made moving documentary titled Adaawk, meaning an oral history, is set to make its debut this week.
Crafted by residents of Northern BC, the film features courageous stories of grief and loss from family members of those who went missing along the Highway of Tears.
Those featured in the presentation also tell of what the recent raising of a Commemoration Memorial and Healing pole, referred to as the Grandmother Pole, means to them.
The hit the screen at the ImagineNative Film and Media Arts Festival at 10:00 Thursday morning, and again on Saturday at the same time.
