October 14th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 605 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.

That brings the province’s active total to 5,172, with 153 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 67 were in the North, while 119 are from within Interior Health’s boundaries.

Four new deaths have been reported, with one in the North.

Nearly 74 percent of cases from the last two weeks come from residents who are not fully vaccinated.

Just over 83 percent of British Columbians have received both vaccinations.
