October 13th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 2,090 new cases of Covid-19 over the long weekend.

That makes the four day average around 522 cases per day.

Currently the number of active cases sits at 5,183, with 357 in hospital and 153 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 351 come from Northern Health, while 404 are from the Interior.

28 new deaths were reported over the four day period, with seven in the North, and eight in the Interior.

83 percent of eligible British Columbians have received both Covid-19 vaccinations.
