Projects looking to bring clean drinking water or better irrigation to underserved communities can now apply for provincial aid.
Local governments and First Nations are being invited to apply for the third intake of BC’s Environmental Quality fund.
The fund supports communities in the building of infrastructure needed for water and wastewater services, as well as solid waste and air polution related projects.
For this stream of funding, the Provincial and Federal Governments are coming together to provide 270 million dollars in funding.
