A pair of incidents in New Hazelton from this week serves as a stark reminder to always report suspected impaired drivers.
On Monday, RCMP responded to reports of an impaired driver to find a man, believed to be intoxicated, sitting behind the wheel of his car.
Officers noticed what appeared to be illicit drugs in the vehicle, later determined to be fentanyl, meth, and cocaine.
Yesterday, police received yet another tip of a possible impaired driver.
They arrived to find a man passed out behind the wheel of a car, whom they recognized immediately.
A search of the vehicle revealed numerous weapons and drugs.
Both were arrested and are awaiting charges following further investigations.
