Drug dealers in the Quesnel area had better get used to looking through bars.
Quesnel RCMP are preparing to enter what they call the arrest phase of an extensive investigation in to drug trafficking in the community.
Dubbed Project ENANDU, the six day investigation nabbed a sizable amount of meth, cocaine, heroine, and fentanyl, as well as cash and a firearm.
That project was a joint effort between special RCMP units from Quesnel, Williams Lake and Prince George.
Prior to that, a targeted effort to stop drug dealers between August of last year and March of this year saw over 2,500 grams of meth seized, as well as a number of other drugs, guns, and cash.
Now, RCMP say while some arrests have already been made, they will continue to track down the rest of the known offenders the investigation revealed.
