BC’s Education minister sent out a statement earlier today saying that schools are intended to be a safe space and that COVID protesters should leave them be.
Jennifer Whiteside also mentioned in her statement that it was completely unacceptable for people that are against COVID vaccines to hold their protests outside of schools.
She also said that everyone who is unhappy with the province’s current health restrictions should be focusing their dissatisfaction towards the provincial government.
This statement came after a B-C school district said that they would be locking their exterior doors for today after multiple COVID-19 protesters made their way into multiple schools last week.
