More Covid-19 restrictions are set to take effect today for residents within Northern Health`s boundaries.
The new restrictions are similar to those which had previously been in place, restricting indoor gatherings to one other family member, or five guests.
For outdoor gatherings, the ceiling will now be set at 50 attendees.
These new restrictions are in place as of this morning.
Premier John Horgan is set to update residents today on the province`s controversial vaccine card.
So far, we know the card will be required to access most non-essential services and will go in to effect on the 13th.
By that time, residents will need to show proof of at least one shot, with two becoming required in October.
The Premier will be joined today by the provice`s Health Officer Doctor Bonnie Henry, to provide more information and clarity.
