There was an apartment fire in Kitimat over the weekend. There were no injuries or fatalities, but apartment evacuees were out of their home for a couple of days.
A family of 4 had to be rescued by firemen via a ladder from a top floor apartment. Witnesses from nearby apartments said they heard an explosion.
The fire started near the laundry room in basement.
