The Tahltan Nation COVID-19 Emergency Management Team sent out a press release earlier today stating that two people in Iskut from the same household have tested positive for COVID-19.
And as result of this positive test, all three communities that are apart of the Tahltan nation are going into lock-down until contact tracing is completed and the Tahltan leadership believes the lock-down order should be lifted.
The two individuals that tested positive are reportedly feeling alright and still self-monitoring. The statement also mentioned that the team is giving their thoughts and prayers to the individuals and their family.
The team also used the statement to remind everyone in the area to remain diligent and to make sure that they only share verifiable information.
