A recent survey conducted by new Insights West has determined that around 80 percent of BC residents are in support of COVID Vaccines being mandatory, but mainly for those with medical professions like Physiologists, Dentists, Chiropractors and teachers as well.
The reason for this survey was due to the subject of mandatory vaccinations becoming a topic of discussion over the past few days.
79 percent of residents were also in favor of the idea of in person office employees requiring the vaccine as well.
As for the people that are unvaccinated that took part in the survey, 63 percent are opposed to the idea of people needing to get the vaccine as well as being against certain professions needing proof of vaccination.
The President of Insights west, Steve Mossop, stated that it’s not very surprising that so many British Columbians support mandatory vaccinations with the province already having a very high vaccination rate.
