The elected leadership of the Nisga’a Lisims Government issued a statement condoning vandalism at an oolichan camp located at Red Bluff.
The Nisga’a Government is asking that if anyone knows who the perpetrators are to report them to the RCMP.
In a statement President Eva Clayton said, “The act is a very intolerable and serious offence. We can all appreciate the personal investment by the camp operator and such a heinous act should not be tolerated anywhere within Nisga’a traditional territories.”
