The Government of B.C. has added more funding to the Circuit Breaker Business Relief Grant.
There is $75 million being added to the grant bringing the total amount available to more than $125 million. The grant remains open to 14,000 restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, gyms and fitness facilities impacted by the March 31 Provincial Health Officer’s Orders.
The grant is now also open to more than 5,300 hotels, motels and other short-term accommodations that were impacted by the new travel restrictions between B.C.’s regional zones.
The grant has been clarified to include high-intensity fitness facilities that were partially or fully closed as a result of the orders being issued. Businesses that previously applied for, or had received the grant that opened on April 12 do need not to apply again.
If you are looking to apply you can do so at the government of B.C.’s website.
