The small community of Telegraph Creek has had its only road access cut off by a washout.
Videos posted to Facebook shows water rushing down and over Telegraph Creek Road/Highway 51, washing out a large section. According to DriveBC, the road is currently closed, with no estimated time of re-opening. There is no detour at the moment, and the situation is being assessed. The next update is expected tomorrow morning.
