The state of emergency was originally put into place on January 12th and it expired at midnight on January 26th.
The Nisga’a Emergency Preparedness Committee has determined that the extension of the state of emergency is not required at this time.
Despite lifting the local state of emergency residents are still expected to follow all provincial health orders.
