Strong winds are expected to hit the Central Coast and Haida Gwaii today

Wind warnings are currently in effect for the Central Coast and Haida Gwaii.

A frontal system will be approaching the B.C. Coast today bringing up to 100 km/h winds.

Winds could cause damage and toss around loose objects. People are asked to be prepared to adjust driving as road conditions can change due to high winds.

Alerts and forecasts are issued by Environment Canada.
