The BC Assembly of First Nations re-elected Terry Teegee as their Regional Chief.
The vote was held yesterday during the 17th BCAFN Annual General Meeting. He beat out Cheryl Casimer 82 votes to 57.
The BCAFN also elected a new Female Youth Representative Taylor Behn-Tsakoza. She is a member of the Fort Nelson First Nation in Northeastern BC in Treaty 8 territory.
Two seats on the Board of Directors were filled by acclamation, the winners were Chief Brian Assu and Chief Rosanna Casimir.
