The Quesnel City Council is reminding everyone that getting outside is still the safest way to congregate.
With winter just around the corner the City is reminding everyone that Quesnel provides a lot of opportunities for getting out doors. The riverfront trail is maintained all winter, making walking a safe and inexpensive activity throughout most of the winter. Snowshoeing in parks and on many trails is also an option. Of course once the brunt of the winter comes around the snowboarding and skiing season will start.
Preregistration is open for some of the local lodges and clubs and may even have early bird discounts. The message that the City of Quesnel is looking to spread is that with winter around the corner it’s time for everyone to stay active.
