BC Hydro has confirmed two cases of Covid-19 at the Site C Dam this week.
The first case was confirmed on Oct. 13, BC Hydro was notified over the long weekend that a contractor worker staying in the worker accommodation had tested positive. Contact tracing for that case has been finished and one additional worker has been asked to self-isolate.
The other Covid-19 case was confirmed yesterday, after a worker began showing symptoms and was asked to self-isolate. The worker arrived on the site on Oct. 12 and did not begin their scheduled shift on Oct. 13. As a result of the precautions taken by the worker while travelling and staying at site, there is a low risk of transmission and no other workers have been asked to self isolate.
Northern Health confirmed that the two cases are not connected. BC Hydro continues to work with the Northern Health Authority and follow all federal and provincial health guidelines.
Ok, thought I would ask myself, as someone says Fake news and thought I would ask source. As I do believe people like to know that why we share
