Winter tires required on B.C. Highways starting on Oct. 1

Winter is just around the corner here and B.C. and that means the requirement of winter tires across all major highways returns.

BC RCMP’s Traffic division sent out a tweet today reminding everyone that as of Oct. 1 winter tires are required across major highways.

People can face a fine of $109 for not complying with the requirement.
