Prince George RCMP are investigating following an armed robbery.
On Wednesday, Sept, 23, RCMP were called to a report of a robbery in a parking lot on the 400-block of Carney St. just after 11 p.m. Multiple frontline officers attended the area including a Police Dog Service team.
Officers learned that a male had approached a female in the parking lot, produced what appeared to be a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect fired the gun twice leading the victim and witnesses to believe the gun was a cap gun. The suspect fled west towards Douglas St., he fled empty handed.
