The Terrace RCMP are requesting the public’s help identifying an individual suspected in attempting to lure a child into a vehicle.
On Friday Sept. 18, at 6 p.m., RCMP received a complaint advising that a male approached their son on the 4600 Block of Park Ave. The parent explained that her son was playing at the small kids park and a male approached him asking him to “come to his van that he had candy.”
The child said no and ran back to his parents for safety, the male then disappeared. The male was said to be wearing black pants and a grey shirt. He was described as middle aged, dark tanned skin, with a light-patchy beard and was stocky. There’s no description of the van.
