Two shootings occurred in Prince George overnight on Thursday Sept. 17 and into the morning of Sept. 18.
At approximately 9 p.m. on Sept 17., Prince George RCMP received a report of shots fired at a residence in the 400 block of Quinn St. When officers arrived at the scene they located a residence that had been shot at numerous times in what’s believed to be a drive by shooting. No one in the home was injured.
At 2 a.m. the following day RCMP received a report of shots being fired in the 1100 block of Vancouver St. Through investigation, investigators located a residence where at least one shot had been fired. No one inside the residence was injured.
At this time there is no evidence to indicate that the shootings are related to one another or any other shootings in the city. If you have any information regarding these crimes or any others you’re asked to contact Prince George RCMP or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
