Tonight we’ll hear from Luutkudziiwus, Gordon Sebastian, Executive Director of the Gitxsan Treaty Society, and former lawyer. Gord’s decades of activism make for some inspiring stories, and in this show, we’ll hear about how his experience as a young man working as a court clerk led him to perform his first act of defiance as an activist, alongside Gitxsan hereditary chiefs. Gord will also talk about the time he and other hereditary chiefs from across the province of BC intercepted a trio of ships in Puerto Rico, and forced an apology from Spain, as well as what he’s got planned for the future.
