On May 27 at roughly 5 p.m., the Prince George RCMP’s Downtown Safety Unit executed the warrant at a residence on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue. Two occupants were arrested as a result.
Investigators located fentanyl, cocaine and methadone in the residence, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash. Two BB guns, a pellet gun, various tools, and stolen personal identification, were also seized. The 28 year old female and 35 year old female were released pending further investigation and charge approval. This residence was the location of a reported aggravated assault in May. The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Section is leading the investigation, which is now being treated as an Attempted Murder. This incident was targeted and related to the drug trade.
