12 new cases across the province today and 3 new deaths to report

Provincial Health Officials gave their daily update on new cases reported in B.C.

There are 12 new cases across the province bringing our total to 2479, including 183 total cases in Interior Health and 60 Total cases in Northern Health. There are also 3 new deaths to report bringing the total to 152.

Currently, there are 2020 people considered fully recovered. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has said that wearing non-medical masks can provide a layer of protection if you cannot physically distance. Henry reminds everyone it is important to not forget that physical distancing and proper hand washing are effective in fighting the virus as primary methods of protecting yourself.
