In the evening of May 8, Prince George RCMP received a report of a person on the roof of a business on the 1400 block of 3rd Ave.
A witness indicated the man was attempting to break into the business. Officers observed a 26 year old male on the roof upon arrival, the suspect is known to police. Officers attempted to talk the suspect off the roof, but he was uncooperative and attempted to evade police by running across multiple building rooftops. Arresting officers were met with resistance, however the suspect was taken into custody a short time later.
The suspect was arrested for Break & Enter, Mischief and resisting arrest. He was held in custody overnight.
