Early this morning the Prince George RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a business on the 600 block of Central St.
The initial report indicated that a lone male smashed a window of a retail store and fled with stolen merchandise in a shopping cart.
Officers went to the scene and arrested a 41 year old Prince George man without incident. Investigators managed to recover almost $4,000 worth of goods in the suspects possession.
The following charges have been approved by the B.C. prosecution service against Lionel William Tanguay, break & enter with intent, theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, possession of break-in instruments, disguise with intent and failure to comply with released order.
Tanguay will appear in court by teleconference later today.
