The Town of Smithers is following the direction from the provincial government regarding the COVID-19 situation.
With new restrictions on the size of gatherings, the Town is closing the Smithers Public Library, Bulkley Valley Regional Pool and Recreation Centre, Civic Centre, and the new arena until further notice.
Town Hall remains open to the public, although staff are asking people to consider alternate means of contacting staff and making payments via electronic means.
