As health officials expect to see more cases of COVID-19 in BC, post-secondary schools are trying to minimize the impact of the virus.
The University of Northern B.C. announced Saturday that the last day of face-to-face classes would be March 18 with students completing the semester by “alternative delivery models”.
The College of New Caledonia is also moving to alternate program delivery and suspending most face-to-face classes this week.
As of Friday, Coast Mountain College said its campuses would remain open and that classes would be running as scheduled.
The college says it will continue to follow the lead of province and BC health officials in terms of recommendations about campus closures.
