The Prince George RCMP are investigating a sexual assault that is believed to have taken place in the community.
On Feb. 24th, the Prince George RCMP began an investigation into a reported sexual assault that occurred just before midnight on Friday Feb. 21. The adult female was walking her dog in the area of 11th Ave. and Winnipeg St. when she was attacked from behind. The male sexually assaulted her and fled in a vehicle.
All efforts to identify the suspect have been negative and the investigators are asking for the public’s help. The suspect is described as, Caucasian male, between 6’0″ and 6’5″, 200 pounds, broad shoulders and muscular upper body, skull tattoo on the back of his right hand, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and heavy work boots. The vehicle is described as, black or dark coloured four door sedan, roof rack with bike attachments, LED headlights, white or silver rims, dual exhaust and an Alberta license plate.
Anyone that may have exterior cameras in the area of 11th Ave and Winnipeg St. or anyone with information is asked to contact Prince George RCMP or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
