Fort St. John RCMP are investigating a shooting and home invasion that happened early Thursday.
Mounties say the incident happened shortly before 4:30 at a home in the 10900 block of 101 Ave.
One man was found suffering gunshot wounds and was later transported out of province for medical attention.
We believe this was a targeted shooting and there is minimal risk to the public,
said lead investigator, Constable Paul Waterman of the Fort St John Serious Crimes Unit, in a news release. The investigation is just beginning, but if anyone knows anything about this, we want to hear from you.
