The women’s final began as a close game, seeing Kitimaat leading at the half 29 to 27. It was a first half that was dominated by defense with a number of turnovers.
The story of the game was an explosive second half by Kitimaat. Taking an early 5 point lead midway through the third. Kitimaat continued to expand the lead shooting well and finding some fast break points. Kitimaat continued to expand their lead moving through the fourth and managed to finish the game with a 27 point lead. Leading in points for Kitimaat was Adelia Paul putting up a team high 23 points.
