Early last Friday morning, the Prince George RCMP executed three Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrants. This was in relation to a local group believed to be involved in the trafficking cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and other drugs.
The warrants were executed at residences on the 2800 block of Norwood Street, the 2100 block of Pine Street and the 500 block of Ahbau Street in Prince George. The police seized more than five ounces total of heroin and fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamines from these locations. Over $18,000 in cash was also seized.
This led to the arrest of four adult males and one adult female. They were held for investigation and later released pending further investigation and charge approval. The Prince George RCMP is asking the public if they have any information regarding the drug trade to contact the RCMP or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
