Highway 97 remains closed in both directions just north of 100 Mile House.
The highway was shut down around 6 p.m. Thursday night for a vehicle incident between Dawson Road and Easzee Drive.
The transportation ministry says an assessment is in progress, but there is no estimated opening time and no detour available.
