A Haisla artist’s work got a royal display recently.
A pendant carved by Hollie Bartlett, who is based in Vancouver, was gifted to Meghan Markle during a visit Tuesday to non-profit group Justice for Girls.
The Duchess of Sussex spent an hour with staff at the Vancouver charity discussing a range of issues, including young women’s leadership and the rights of Indigenous Peoples.
