RCMP have made an arrest in the murder of a South Cariboo man one year ago.
Mounties say 29-year-old Wyatt Lee Boffa has been charged with first degree murder in the death of 43-year-old Jamie Baldwin of Deep Creek.
Baldwin was found dead by police when they were called to a Mountain House Road Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
Police arrested Boffa without incident in the Clinton area Friday.
Major crime investigators have remained committed, to Baldwin’s family and the entire community, to piecing together the circumstances surrounding his sudden death,
says Insp. Jeff Pelley of the Williams Lake RCMP in a news release. RCMP will continue to support the victim’s family, the community and the prosecution as the investigation begins to transition to the judicial process.
Although an arrest has been made, RCMP say their investigation continues.
Major crime investigators want to speak with anyone who has additional information about the homicide.
