Expect plenty of snow to hit the ground if you live or plan on travelling through the middle of the province.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for the Lakes District, Stuart-Nechako, Prince George, and Cariboo Norht, including Quesnel.
Forescasters say a frontal system crossing the interior of the province will bring snow throughout the afternoon and heavy snow by Friday night.
Officials expect 10-15 cm of snow in many locations south of Prince George, south of Vanderhoof, and for the souther sections of the Lakes District, including Ootsa Lake.
Closer to Quesnel, communities near the Cariboo Mountains may see 15-25 cm of snow by Saturday morning.
Environment Canada says there be reduced visibility and challenging driving conditions as a result.
