Quesnel RCMP say they were able to dismantle a drug dealing operation thanks to the investigation of a local home.
The probe culminated in a search warrant at a Dahl Road residence last Thursday which turned up about 200 grams of cocaine, $9000 cash, and a firearm.
Officers arrested a Quesnel resident who is facing drug and weapons charges after the investigation revealed that he was allegedly packaging drugs for sale and selling from the home.
The Quesnel RCMP detachment is asking residents to report suspected drug houses in their neighbourhood.
Police say drug houses will often have frequent vehicle and foot traffic at them which typically are short visits.
