Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako Area G Director Rob Newell has Passed Away.
Newell passed away last night at the age of 74.
Board Chair Gerry Thiessen expressed his profound sadness by saying, “we are privileged to have known and worked with Rob, and we will miss him dearly. Our hearts go out to Rob’s family during this sorrowful time.”
Rob was a three term Director who was first elected in 2011 to the board. During his tenure, he passionately represented Area G (Houston Rural) residents and constantly advocated for the betterment of the region.
