As of Midnight last night CN workers went on strike.
This has stopped all commercial rail traffic but passenger rail service in the country’s three biggest cities would not be affected by the strike.
Work safety and long work hours are two of the key issues in these negotiations.
The workers have been without a contract since July 23.
