The University of Northern BC could be behind picket lines later this week.
The UNBC Faculty Association issued 72-hour strike notice Monday, November 4.
If no deal is reached between the university and the faculty association, strike action could start as early as Thursday morning.
The UNBC Faculty Association says it remains hopeful for respectful negotiations that will lead to a fair contract.
Faculty have been without a contract since June 30.
