On October 12th Prince George emergency services including the RCMP received a report of an explosion and a subsequent fire at a home on Chilako Drive in Prince George.
When they arrived they found the home engulfed in flames and provided emergency care to the injured and evacuated nearby residents.
Four men were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. It’s believed that everyone made it out of the house, however one dog did not survive.
A 40 year old man died in hospital as a result of the fire the other three are expected to survive.
Witnesses and video evidence indicate the occupants were handling large amounts of gasoline.
