Pile burning is planned to take place in the Walker Valley in the 108 Mile Ranch area.
It will be taking place between October 11th and November 30th. The 108 Greenbelt commission is coordinating the project with support from the local fire department and the Cariboo Regional District.
The burning is a continuation of the pile burning from last fall to dispose of debris from previous fuel management projects.
Burning will be conducted in a controlled manner when appropriate.
