In the afternoon of Tuesday October 1st the Prince George RCMP received a report of a residential break and enter at a home on Summit Street, near the intersection of Ospika and Rainbow Drive.
Sometime during the day one or more suspects forcibly entered the home and removed a large gun safe that was secured to the wall.
Three hand guns and a long gun were secured in the safe.
Investigators believe the safe and residence was targeted by the suspects. The culprits were likely in the residence for a long period of time while they worked to remove the safe.
