What are the labour gaps and future job needs for the Cariboo?
The Cariboo Regional District has launched two surveys to find out.
The CRD has been connecting with businesses in-person over the summer to complete a business survey as part of the Cariboo Chilcotin regional labour market study. Telephone outreach will continue until September 21st.
The job seeker survey closes on October 15th.
“We have two main goals in this labour market study: one is to provide an assessment of current and forecasted labour market trends, opportunities and needs specific to the region. Secondly, the study will provide an evidence-based strategy to facilitate capcity building amoung the regional labour force and business sectors,” said Margo Wagner, Cariboo regional District Chair.
