Canfor has announced more production cuts across a number of its mills.
The forestry firm says its Houston, Polar, Prince George, and Fort St. John sawmills will be down for the week of September 3rd.
The company says its Houston and Plateau mills will also be moving to a four-day work week in September.
It says the four-day work week will remain until market conditions improve.
Canfor blames low lumber prices and high fibre costs for the curtailments.
The cuts will reduce production capacity by 75 million board feet between September 3rd and the end of the year.
